Honda Crv Front License Plate Installation
I just got a 2005 Honda Civic today. I'd like to install the front license plate bracket but it doesn't have any instructions and I have no.
I have recently moved to a state that requires both
front and back licenses. I had the front mount
plate holder off and stowed in the car for
sometime. I have since placed it back in and
screws underneath exactly as it is supposed to but
the top part is very loose against the car. Fits in the
grooves well and everything. Is there an adhesive
that is used to keep it right to the bumper?
Not sure if this is the same issue but the holes on my '08 Grand Marquis front bumper cover were stretched from being improperly drilled by the previous owner. When my front license plate flew off in the carwash (true story) I got a pack of drywall anchors and they work just fine. Can't see them because the front license plate is in front of them and they are doing a fine job at keeping my front plate on securely! HTH. -Jim
