@Kenneth New8 Glad to hear you got it working! The Urban Raid map is an individual map, you can download it from here (Along with a ton of other good single maps) www.nightwatchmilitia.com/Maps.html - Just take the folder within the zip file and drag it into the levels folder (bf2/mods/aix2/levels) - Have fun!

@Prospekt Mir finally I'm playing the AIX 2.0 but there is no urban raid map but it's a lot of map I choose. Thanks all your help!

@Kenneth New8 It requires at least version 1.41, but works on 1.5 also. People who have the game from a disc install need to at least update to 1.41 to get AIX to work, but people who got the game on either Origin or Steam in the past will get version 1.5 of the game. So yeah, both versions work either 1.41 or 1.5.

@Prospekt Mir oh ok so the AIX 2.0 really working on patch 1.5 so is there no problem when I installing. Ok let me try now thanks for the help. And wait thats why the AIX 2.0 is not compatible on patch 1.0 am I right? Ok thanks by the way! 😀 Let me ask you again if there a problem or non. Ok i will talk to you later.. 😊

Battlefield 2 is an old game. Since its release, numerous entries in the Battlefield: Bad Company franchise have hit the scene, as has Battlefield 3. On top of that, Battlefield 4 is almost upon us. However, in spite of all of these newer Battlefield games hitting the market, none reproduce the experience of Battlefield 2. There is a certain quality that no other shooter has been able to live up to.

So what is a fan to do? After all, in spite of how awesome Battlefield 2 is, there is only so many times you can run through the same content over and over. It gets old. The answer is simple: turn to mods, and bring the game back to life. Download soundpools for magix music maker premium. Can mods really bring a game released all the way back in 2005? Most certainly, as long as you download the best ones, and that’s just what we are going to look at today.

As BF2 is a little on the old side, you might have a hard time finding tons of active players for some of these mods. However, if you have friends who will also play, you can still have a great time.

BF2: Sandbox

If Minecraft, one of the most customizable games under the sun, and Battlefield 2 had a baby, BF2: Sandbox would be the resulting offspring. Essentially, it turns the world of Battlefield 2 into a fully customizable plaything for your personal enjoyment. You can build and mess with almost anything you want, which makes for some really interesting and fun experiences. It’s not combat based, so if you are tired of pointing your gun and shooting, this is the exactly the modification you will want to apply to your copy of BF2. There are not a ton of active servers for this mod, but if you have some friends who are still spending time playing BF2, you can get them together and have a blast.

Project Reality: Battlefield 2

Did you think the experience in Battlefield 2 was lacking realism? If so, this is the modification for you. Not only does this mod tweak the way BF2 plays, it also changes up the textures and makes the game look substantially better. The final version was actually just released in August of this year, but it was in beta for a long time before that. You will get to play custom game modes, and you will even get to experience cooperative gameplay, which is something you will not find in vanilla BF2. Just make sure you have a decent PC, because even if your system can run BF2 without issue, it might not be able to handle the substantially higher-res textures offered in the mod.

Omnicide

Do you like Battlefield 2? Of course you do, or you wouldn’t be looking for mods for it. Do you like zombies? I’ll bet so. Well with Omnicide, you get BF2 and zombies combined into one highly entertaining package. This modification could easily stand on its own as a separate game in terms of quality and depth of gameplay. It features multiple modes, fantastic audio and visual design, and so much more. If you’re looking for a way to get more life out of BF2 from a game that feels nothing like the base version, this is one you will want to install.

Allied Intent Xtended

This mod adjusts everything for BF2. New maps, new guns, new play mode, new everything. When you install it, you might even forget that you are playing BF2 at all. The main point of the mod is single player and coop, which is quite a change for the multiplayer focused shooter. If you are looking for a ton of content that will add countless hours to your Battlefield 2 gameplay experience, this is the mod you will want to install.

Now Go Play!

Dust off that copy of Battlefield 2 (or even go buy a new one, if you’re feeling daring), and get ready to have some fun. While it might not look as pretty as a modern shooter, the game is still a ton of fun to play, and the core mechanics hold up, even eight years after it first hit the scene. If you still love the game, but want some new content to keep things fresh, download these mods and be prepared for the time of your life. Why go spend all the money to buy a completely new game when you can simply download these incredible mods and breathe an entire new life into the game you already own?
